Episode 63 - Summer of MCU: Phase II - Guardians of the Galaxy

Just when you thought Marvel may suffer a spectacular flop… they go and make a thing like this and totally redeem themselves - as if they really needed it, right?  This film represents a drastic cosmic turn for Marvel Studios, with this rag tag team of unknown misfits managing to burrow their way into our hearts and collective pop culture (WE are GROOT anyone?!)  Traveling through the deep reaches of space, we experience things we've never seen in the MCU thus far - like talking trees, talking raccoons, colorful aliens, and a few "humans" along the way.  When Ronan the Generic gets called upon by Thanos, it’s game on for the Guardians.  Come and get your love in the outer reaches of the galaxy as the Summer of MCU: Phase II continues with 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy!
